Hughes Environmental Appoints New Production Manager

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 14, 2010) – Hughes Environmental, a commercial duct cleaning and combustible dust remediation company based in Louisville, Kentucky, is pleased to announce a new member of their management team, Mr. John Dockter.  John will join the company’s operations department as the Production Manager to aide in the continued and consistent growth of the business.

“John brings a substantial amount of experience with him to this position”, said Chuck Cooper, Director of Business Development for Hughes Environmental. “His capacity to juggle the day-to-day operations of a growing business with the ability to provide excellent managerial and leadership skills to his crew will ultimately allow us to have a more productive, more cohesive team. Hughes Environmental Earns Safety Award for Fifth Consecutive Year

LOUISVILLE, KY (May 18, 2010) – Hughes Environmental, a commercial duct cleaning company based in Louisville, Kentucky, was named the recipient of the HVAC Inspection, Maintenance and Restoration Association’s 2009 “Outstanding Safety Award”. Winners of the Outstanding Safety Award have maintained little to no instances of employee injury for three or more consecutive years.

     The requirements for the Safety Award is based on standards from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Companies who apply for the award must have completed OSHA #300A Log in accordance with requirements under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 and have met safety guidelines as stipulated by NADCA to receive the honor.

 “We’re very proud of this accomplishment.  Having maintained an outstanding safety record for five consecutive years is something we are very proud of”, said Garry Cronin, Vice President of Operation for Hughes Environmental.  “This is just another example of how Hughes Environmental knows the importance of safety on the job.”

Hughes Environmental’s Owner Quoted in NADCA’s Trade Magazine

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (December 10, 2009) –The September/October edition of the National Air Duct Cleaners  Association’s (NADCA) trade magazine, DucTales, featured an article about how to best promote being a NADCA Certified Company.  The article focuses on ways in which businesses can promote themselves and get the word out about being a member of NADCA and to encourage newly certified NADCA businesses to use such methods to grow their companies. Alexis turned to the owner of Hughes Environmental, Mr. Craig Rutledge, to share his experience with marketing his NADCA Certified Commercial Duct Cleaning Company.

     “Alexis contacted me because she noticed that we consistently submit press releases and she wanted to remind other members that there are a lot of benefits to investing a little time in good PR,” said Rutledge.  “I think this was a good article to remind our fellow members that generating interest in NADCA and its members can only benefit each of our companies.”

Commercial Duct Cleaning Company Sponsors Louisville Golf Classic

      This yearly outing will benefit St. Anthony’s Community Outreach Center for Children, a Louisville-based charity that offers assistance and guidance to at-risks children. “Louisville is very much a golfing community and it’s a great time for our clients to enjoy the game and engage in some great conversation. “, said Chuck Cooper, Business Development Manager for Hughes Environmental.  “Whether you are playing the game or just there to support the cause it’s a good time to get together and do something great for our community”, said Cooper.

Hughes Environmental wins Safety Award for the Fourth Consecutive Year

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 3, 2009) – Hughes Environmental, a commercial duct cleaning company based in Louisville, Kentucky, was awarded the “Outstanding Safety Award” by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA).  This award is reserved for companies like Hughes Environmental who have had an outstanding safety record for more than three consecutive years.
